Snap it. Log it. Done.

Point your camera at dinner and know the calories, macros and nutrients in seconds. No database to search, no food scales, no guessing at portions - and a calorie target measured from your own log rather than calculated from a formula about people in general.

7 days of everything, free. No card, nothing to cancel - and after that the diary stays free forever.

The usnapit Today screen: 2,140 calories left of 2,300, the week strip, macro bars and the day's logged meals as photos
Three ways in

Logging a meal should take seconds, not minutes.

Most trackers lose people at the food database. usnapit never makes you search one - point the camera instead.

Snap a meal

Photograph the plate. You get an itemized breakdown - every food, its portion, its calories and macros - not a single mystery number. Wrong about the chicken? Tap and fix it.

Scan a barcode

Point at the barcode on any packet and usnapit looks the product up in Open Food Facts - real published figures, not an AI estimate. No model runs, and it never counts against your free estimates.

Describe a meal

No photo? Say what you ate in plain words - "big bowl of chilli and a glass of red" - and let usnapit do the parsing and the portion math.

Snap a menu

Photograph the menu before you order and see estimated calories next to every dish, with the prices converted to your own currency. Tap the dish you ordered and it is logged - no hunting for it afterward.

The difference

Measured, not calculated.

Every tracker sets your daily calories from a formula: height, weight, age, and an activity level you picked from a dropdown. It is a population average. For any individual it can be hundreds of calories wrong, in either direction, and it never finds out.

Your own numbers, not a table

What you actually ate, against what your weight actually did, over the last eight weeks. The same arithmetic that makes weight change in the first place, run on your data instead of on an average of everybody's.

It shows its working

Days measured, days logged, average intake, weight change, and the figure they produce - all on the card. A number that tells you what to eat should be one you can argue with.

One tap to use it

It never changes your target on its own. When you are ready, one tap adopts it - and your goal, your macro split and the floor that stops a target going too low all still apply on top.

Until there is enough logged to say anything honest, usnapit uses the standard formula and says so. It would rather show you a known estimate than a measurement it has not earned.

New

What your log says.

A week of numbers is not the same as knowing what they mean. Once you have a few days logged, usnapit reads them back to you in plain English on the Today screen - one line if that is all you want, the whole thing if you tap it.

The pattern you cannot see

Weekdays against weekends, where the calories actually went, whether the trend agrees with the plan. Real patterns in your own log, named - not a chart you have to interpret.

Your figures, not invented ones

Every number it talks about is worked out on your phone first, by the same code the screens use. It is not asked to do arithmetic, so it cannot disagree with the card above it.

Averages leave, meals do not

Only totals go anywhere: how many days you logged, your averages, a weight trend. No meal names, no photos, no dates of birth - nothing that identifies you or what you ate.

It will not congratulate you for eating less, score a day as good or bad, or treat one heavy morning as a trend. It is written by an AI from your own figures, and it is not medical or dietary advice - the app says so on the card itself. Included in the free week and in Pro.

New

Coins for turning up. Never for eating less.

Every day you log, every weigh-in and every run you keep earns coins. They buy new color themes and carry you through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond - and nothing you unlock changes a number the app tells you.

Coins, with the receipt

Rewards shows every line of how you earned them and from how many days. Coins start at your first logged meal, not at history imported from a watch, so nobody arrives already Gold.

A medal beside your name

Bronze at 250, Silver at 1,000, Gold at 3,000, Platinum at 7,500, Diamond at 10,000 - from lifetime coins, so spending never demotes you. It sits beside your profile picture on Home, and on your share card if you want it there.

Badges you cannot buy

Thirty days logged, a fourteen-day run, a goal you set and reached - earned, and only earned. Reach your goal and the app says so once, with fireworks and a diamond no coin can buy.

There is also one fact a day on the Today screen - short, sourced, and dismissable - and a share card for the last 7, 30 or 90 days that carries your run, your medal if you choose, and nothing about your weight unless you say so. How the rewards work ›

The rest of it

Four things a photo alone will not do.

Logging is the easy half. What you do with a month of it is the part that changes anything.

Tracking ›

Today, Trends and the Log. Calories, macros, fiber, sugar, sodium, water and alcohol, by day, week and month.

Weight ›

A budget worked out from your own intake and weight instead of a formula, and a trend line that does not panic about a heavy morning.

Health sync ›

Apple Health and Health Connect. Your weight and your active energy come in on their own, and a weight you type goes back.

Streaks, rewards & sharing ›

Nudges that have read your log, a streak you cannot lose by lunchtime, coins and tiers for turning up, and a card you can share without sharing your weight.
